Home grown
and hardy.
Our plants are propagated, potted then raised right here in our own growing fields. We don’t use polytunnels, so our plants live outdoors all year round in the elements of North West England.
As the saying goes, if it grows at Holden Clough, it’ll grow anywhere.

The Frame Yard at Holden Clough is stocked with thousands of home-grown plants, carefully sorted to make it easy for you to find something to fall in love with. From fruit trees to ferns and flowering shrubs, vibrant spring bulbs to evergreen topiary, annual bedding plants to herbaceous perennials, it’s all here at Holden Clough.
Our award collection keeps growing.
We have proudly collected 27 consecutive medals and awards for the quality of our plants and are thrilled to have been selected RHS Tatton Park Master Grower for 2023.
