The White Garden

About this style

Inspired by Vita Sachville-West’s innovative planting at Sissinghurst, the White Garden brings together a wide variety of white flowering shrubs and perennials. Depth and contrast are created through the use of different forms, shapes and foliage colour, and the result is calming, elegant and highly versatile style that works equally well in contemporary, traditional or historical settings.

Whilst the palest blues, pinks or lime greens can be included, yellow is not, as it is deemed to visually ‘muddy’ the pure whites of other blooms.
